City of Berkeley Receives Rapid Workflow® Certification Training
March 10, 2020
The Information Technology Director at the City of Berkeley, Savita Chaudhary has, once again, elected to have all new IT staff take the ThirdWave Rapid Workflow® 2020 Certification Training. This follows the formal training provided to the City’s forty (40) IT Department in 2017.
Rapid Workflow® employs business process modeling to assess management, operational and technology challenges in a given business process, allowing staff and management to contribute to defining solutions. It allows staff to focus on business process improvement and the technologies needed to enhance service delivery to the public.
All new IT staff went through an intensive two-day class addressing As-Is and To-Be process modeling, detailed technical specification development and Cost Benefit Analysis. City IT staff will use Rapid Workflow® to identify requirements, develop functional and technical specifications for RFPs, and the development of implementation roadmaps.
Nineteen (19) IT staff who went through the certification Training in 2017 also went through the Rapid Workflow® 2020 Refresh Seminar.
Adopting Rapid Workflow® as a best practice, the City’s IT organization will take advantage of the improvements and innovations in the latest version of ThirdWave’s patented methodology: Rapid Workflow® 2020.
