ThirdWave Provides PMBOK-Based Project Management Essentials Training to Fairfield Community Development Department

Fairfield, CA.  City of Fairfield retains ThirdWave Corporation to provide PMBOK-based Project Management Essentials training to enhance the project management of Development Projects as well as Capital Improvement Projects.

 

Recognizing the vital importance of understanding Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) for the City’s development/CIP projects, Savita Chaudhary, the City’s CIO/Assistant City Manager, retained ThirdWave to provide training for 20 staff in the IT Department.

 

The PMF course is an intensive one-day class based on the PMBOK project management methodology, which ThirdWave has successfully applied on more than 700 IT projects for 300+ government clients. The class addresses the entire project lifecycle: Integration Management, Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution & Control, and Project Closing using a combination of presentation, use cases, and class exercises.
