As a pioneer and visionary in the effective use of the web in government since 1995, ThirdWave provides a number of professional and technical services in the areas of web services. Our projects have included developing E-Government/Smart City Strategic Plans, government website development, E-Government/E-Commerce application development and web application integration with ERP systems. Government website redesigns, e.g., cities of Las Vegas and Pasadena
E-Government application development including: parks and recreation registration, business licenses, parking ticket payments, concert ticket purchases, development permitting, and public works estimating. The most significant web-enabled application has been CAMM NET for OCTA (Orange County Transportation Authority), a totally paperless solicitation application. (OCTA is the 4th largest transit operator in the US.) This custom developed application is the oldest running government e-procurement application in the US. It was launched in 1999, supported by ThirdWave for 20 years, re-written in 2018, interfaced to the OCTA’s ERP and Facebook.
